THE THIRD TIDE — DESCENT
21 March 2026 — Darkroom, Christchurch
The shore disappears.
This is the deep water — the point of surrender.
The stories reach new depths and the pressure builds.
Don’t fight it.
Breathe.
From beneath the surface, Soundscape Sirens emerge.
After months of silence the collective returns with their Summer Tour 2026.
Promising even deeper sonic storytelling from this trio of eclectic kiwi beatmakers.
This is your invitation. Your passage. Your escape.
The tour opens 28 February at Smash Palace, Gisborne, before making waves up and down the country, leaving its mark on Auckland and Christchurch, culminating in a climactic performance on 28 March in Hamilton.
A live experience that will deepen the world unveiled in their pilot show last July.
Heed the Sirens call.
Step into the dark.
Listen.
Support act: Play For Keeps
Formed in 2023, Play For Keeps are a five-piece band featuring lead vocalist / rhythm guitarist Si
Hart, keyboardist / vocalist Nic Hart, bassist / vocalist Tim Cederman, lead guitarist Rob Grover and
drummer Andy Gibbs.
Their debut EP, released in 2024 under former band name ‘Ellie Oak’, launched a tour of New
Zealand with the lead single ‘Give it a Go’ becoming a fan favourite. In 2025, they recorded a new EP
in collaboration with award-winning producer Tom Healy. They performed in the Christchurch Town
Hall at Go Live Festival, and after a successful fundraising campaign, have secured the funds to
record a full-length album.
Rebranded and renamed, Play For Keeps will release the first single from their new EP in early 2026.
With the support of Nicnak Media, they continue to hustle for opportunities to share their music
with the world.
