ANDREW HEALEY
A songwriter from Auckland’s North Shore, Andrew Healey has walked a somewhat eclectic musical path. He started out singing and playing guitar for covers and original bands. Then, for many years, he oscillated between intimate gigs as a solo singer-guitarist and extravagant shows as a crooner for the jazz-swing quartet Standard Deviation.
These days, Andrew focuses his talents on songwriting. So far, he has release the 4-track EP 'Today is a Beautiful Day,' the 11-track album 'Parallel World' as well as several singles. Andrew’s music has also appeared in T.V. and film, and he co-wrote ‘Call me up’, the theme song for a show on Radio Live.
With his five-piece band, Andrew looks forward to performing his original songs as well as some classics from artists who have inspired him over the years.
