Our second installment is one for the books! Featuring local legends Daisy Grae and rising stars Yawner.
Daisy Grae are a Wellington born band that have been grooving in the local scene since their early high school days. Taking influence from genres across the board, Daisy Grae have crafted their very own brand of alternative funk rock. They consistently bring a refined, heavy, and psychedelic energy to the Pōneke music scene. Feeding off a fresh sound this ever-evolving 4 piece of passionate personalities continue to be recognised as one of Pōneke’s most exciting live homegrown experiences.
Yawner are a Poneke-based R&B group formed in late 2024, bringing together a tight, groove-driven sound alongside the unmatched vocal talents and timbre of Eden Brown. Since their formation, the band have spent the better half of 2025 meticulously refining their identity as a unit, and are now more ready than ever to share it. Focusing on a heavy-hitting but soothing craft, they’ve put together an enormous live set which is not to be missed.
