I'm thirty next month, so I invited all of my favorites to come play a show to mourn the loss of my youthful glow. Unfortunately none of them could make it, so instead we have...
Stunt Clown
Despite the prior dig at them, I really like these guys. Hopefully we'll be treated to some tracks off the new album they've been busy laying down.
Skonk
The egotistical pick on the lineup and the winners of the prestigious Tauranga's Most Improved Band award for 2025. I'm somehow not sick of playing with these guys after touring the north island with them last year, so we're back at our favorite spot for another go around.
Bones Inc
After going to their farewell show a while back, I was surprised to run into these guys at a show. Turns out the UK music scene just couldn't compare to what we have over here in lil ole Tauranga, so Hugh came crawling back and begged me for a gig and I was more than happy to oblige.
A Mystery Band
That's not our... oops I mean ahh their actual name. They just couldn't decide on one fast enough and wanted to keep the lineup a surprise. Prepare to meet Tauranga's latest in a long line of incestuous bands featuring members you've seen before that may or may not include the above mentioned old who's birthday it is on bass and vocals.
There'll be a free BBQ/Sausage sizzle and if you stay till the end and kiss my ass enough, you'll be treated to some of my famous home baking.
Thanks so much to Rolph for the poster!
