Sam Bartells is one of those rare artists who can hush a room with a lyric and have it roaring a minute later. Born in Auckland, was signed in Nashville, Sam’s sound blends old-school country grit with a fresh, modern edge, with and mix of Rock to creating something truly his own.
He is back after two years off and his last two shows were sold out!
His songs are stories – of heartbreak and redemption, struggle and hope – carried on soulful vocals and stripped-back honesty that make you feel every word. With multiple NZ Top 40 tracks, Twice in The Rock 2000 and gigs from small bars to a 50,000-strong Bledisloe crowd, Sam has earned a loyal following the hard way: one song, one stage, one real connection at a time.
