Auckland-based singer-songwriter Nat Hathaway returns with “Only Sophie,” a nostalgic, soft rock-inspired single. Drawing influence from artists including Hall & Oates, the Bee Gees, and Gilbert O’Sullivan, the track blends vintage-inspired instrumentation with a clean, modern production style.
Nat is a well established Bass player on the music scene, frequently performing with the likes of Summer Thieves, Masaya and Reiki Ruawai.
On the side he has slowly been building an audience for his own, vintage inspired solo material.
With a degree in jazz, he blends a deep understanding of music theory with an instinct for pop songwriting, crafting catchy melodies layered over sophisticated arrangements.
