The BEATLE BACK CATALOGUE SHOW 1
Originally conceived by Robin Ferris and Phil Doublet, they managed to score two other well-known Chch Musicians to form this classic four-piece Beatles lineup.
None of the Four really needs any introduction to Canterbury audiences as they are all well-known, experienced, and respected quality Musicians…..
But briefly they are….
Phil Doublet, with vocals and a skilled stringed instrument performer.
Robin B Ferris, lead vocalist and quality Martin guitarist.
Wayne Allen, an amazing drummer with vocals.
Robbie Carpenter, a versatile, clever Bass guitarist with vocals.
This exceptional quality band will present a varied collection of all the Beatles written numbers out of the 188 original songs that they wrote and which have been carefully drawn from all 13 official Beatles albums for your listening pleasure.
Take a welcome and nostalgic walk down memory lane (or Penny Lane) to relive and reflect on how so many songs and albums of the Beatles touched us (and everyone) so deeply in our everyday lives and as to what was going on in the World during that crazy turbulent decade between 1960 & 1970 when the most amazing combination known collectively as the Beatles, literally exploded onto the World Stage…….
We advise you to book your seats early to avoid disappointment, as we envisage that there will be substantial interest in experiencing this show, which may very well form the first of a series exploring the unbelievable and fascinating Beatles repertoire of 188 original songs.
Reflect on what you were doing during those significant Beatles years and how much the Beatles influenced music, trends, fashions, habits and attitudes and the spreading of freedom and love.
Here are a few events. to ponder over (or if too young!) to research!
