Madcap presents The Woolshed Experience, a brand new winter dance experience landing in Hawke’s Bay on Saturday 27 June.
Set within a unique indoor space at a soon-to-be-revealed location, The Woolshed Experience brings together underground sound, immersive lighting, warm hospitality, and a dancefloor made for a good night out. Expect a carefully curated atmosphere where house, garage and drum & bass collide, paired with quality food, a tasty drinks selection, and the kind of energy that keeps people locked in until the lights come on.
Leading the charge is Body Ocean, the dynamic house project fronted by Jeremy Glenn of The Upbeats, with creative involvement from Nik Roos, formerly of Noisia. Fresh from performances at Snow Machine, Rabbit Eats Lettuce and Slander’s Star Base Festival in LA, Body Ocean has carved out a distinct sonic identity, blending world-class sound design with groove-driven house music. With releases on influential labels including Night Bass, Dirtybird, Black Book Records and STMPD RCRDS, the project has become one of Aotearoa’s most exciting electronic exports.
Also headlining are Chiccoreli & Tali, one of New Zealand’s most respected drum & bass duos. Combining Chiccoreli’s deep, soulful liquid DnB selections with Tali’s unmistakable vocals and energetic MC presence, the pair bring decades of international experience to the stage. From Glastonbury and Hospitality On The Beach to Northern Bass, Rhythm & Vines and Liquicity Festival, Chiccoreli & Tali have become a powerhouse pairing known for dynamic performances that move effortlessly between soulful moments and dancefloor pressure.
Supporting the night is a stacked lineup of Hawke’s Bay selectors and tastemakers featuring AV, Longplayer, Pulse Promotions and SS61, spanning disco, house, garage and drum & bass across the evening.
Alongside the music, guests can expect food vendors, a great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a warm winter atmosphere designed for dancing.
Pre-register holders received exclusive 24 hour presale access from 8am Mon 11 May, ahead of the public lineup announcement at 6pm. General public tickets go on sale 8am Tue 12 May.
