Tāmaki Makaurau Indie Rock outfit, Kipper Reid, take to the road for their debut tour.
The two-date tour arrives after the release of their debut EP Bluebird, including recent singles Cosmic Collision Course, Bluebird and the upcoming, cathartic Second Thoughts on Leaving. Written during varying periods, the body of work dives deep into reflectiveness, nostalgia and love.
Bringing explosive crescendos and soulful melodies, Kipper Reid's live performances take the polished, clean songs of their recordings and blur the line between sing-along indie rock and gritty, instrumentally dense post-rock. Tied to their home of Tāmaki Makaurau for the past year, this tour marks the beginning of a new chapter for the band with new music underway already and plans for further tours.
