Bridget Kelly has a unique creative voice on reeds, moving from lyrical melodies to unearthly growls. Performing also with harp and tāonga pūoro, she's been a constant presence in the Wellington music scene for the past 20 years. She has played with ensembles like The Troubles, Dreamville, Village of the Idiots and The Mean Bones. Bridget will be showcasing her original music joined by a masterful ensemble of musicians including drummer John Rae and THREE double bassists - Isaac Smith, Patrick Bleakley and Tom Callwood. Expect transformational musical moods in the jazz genre.

John Rae is a drummer, composer, musical director and the founder of the Aotearoa Jazz Orchestra. His playing is known for its musical sensitivity, dynamic range and strong ensemble focus. - Patrick Bleakley is a local bass legend of international repute. Known for playing with Blerta in the 1970s and 80s, aswell as in Jonathan Crayford's jazz trio, The Troubles and in his own group, Zeelanders.

Tom Callwood (double bass) is an improvisor and collaborator who has performed throughout NZ and the UK. He’s a regular in the local experimental and popular music scenes with bands including The Phoenix Foundation, Teeth & Devils Gate Outfit. - Composer and performer Isaac Smith is at home on a number of instruments, including double bass and modular synthesisers. He has released numerous solo albums under Hoofschool and Meeps and performs with groups including Orchestra of Spheres. Isaac has a strong commitment to improvisation as a vehicle in the pursuit of awareness and balance.
