SCRAPPA:
Scrappa is a 23-year-old DJ and producer from Sydney, Australia, specializing in UK Garage. Known for his dedication to capturing the essence of the old-school garage sound, Scrappa blends nostalgic grooves with fresh, modern energy.
He has gained significant attention on SoundCloud through his remixes, amassing a substantial following. His music has earned support from notable artists such as Interplanetary Criminal, Silva Bumpa, and Girls Don’t Sync. In July 2024, Scrappa made waves with his track “Dis Da Number,” featured on the inaugural release of Osmosis Jones’ label, INTHEHOUSE. The track has received international play, solidifying his presence in the global garage scene.
JUNI:
Tāmaki Makaurau-based producer and DJ Juni is carving out his own lane in Aotearoa’s UK garage and bass landscape, delivering a forward-driving sound rooted in modern 4x4 garage. Combining infectious swing, weighty low-end and peak-time energy with subtle tech-house influences, his sets and productions are built for movement — tight grooves, hard-hitting drops and club-focused rhythms designed to keep dancefloors locked in.
Alongside a growing catalogue of original releases, Juni has received support from Boiler Room, Rinse FM and Subtle Radio, as well as regular airplay on George FM. His productions have also found favour with key figures across the UK garage landscape, earning support from artists including Silva Bumpa, ESC, Dr Dubplate, Soul Mass Transit System and Osmosis Jones. One of his tracks was also played by Fred again.. during his Alexandra Palace show in London, signalling growing attention beyond New Zealand's borders.
One of the fastest-rising names in New Zealand's garage scene, Juni has built significant momentum across radio, festivals and club circuits both at home and abroad. Over the past year, he has completed a nationwide festival run spanning Rhythm & Vines, Northern Bass, Hidden Valley and Matakanarama, alongside an Australian tour that expanded his reach across the Tasman. He has directly supported MPH, Osmosis Jones, Y U QT, Badger and Efan, cementing his place at the forefront of Aotearoa's club circuit.
With momentum accelerating and a sound that's distinctly his own, Juni continues to establish himself as a key figure in the next generation of garage coming out of Aotearoa, helping shape where the scene heads next.
