Public Bar is proud to welcome Chicago post-hardcore and noise-rock stalwart Che Arthur.
A fixture of the Midwestern underground for over two decades, Arthur is best known as the driving force behind Pink Avalanche and guitarist for Atombombpocketknife. Renowned for his raw, cathartic songwriting, massive guitar tones, and brooding melodic grit, this rare performance brings a masterclass in uncompromising American indie rock directly to the local stage.
Also performing are Tāmaki Makaurau post-punk constants Swallow the Rat, who will be stress-testing new material and bassist before heading into the studio.
Rounding out the night are exclusive DJ sets by members of Silversun Pickups.
