Torque Sounds are back!
Presenting our first Girls Torque here in Aotearoa. Celebrating the wāhine DJs of Te Whanganui-a-Tara. Expect quality selectors playing on the classic Torque Sounds rig that you've heard all over Pōneke and beyond.
Girls Torque is the modern revival of a night that made its mark in London rave scene back in 2004. This is not a nostalgia trip. It's a resurrection: same name, same energy, new city, new era!

Kicking things off at 9pm with an assortment of electronic music to keep you dancing deep into the night!
Each DJ on the line up is a mover & shaker in the Wellington club scene;
• M.Cap is the founder of 'Nine Oh Nine' who facilitate girls & Femmes only DJ workshops.
• Fortuna is the founder of 'Fortunes' known for their deep/prog/melodic house & techno events.
• Malware is the Co-founder of Venom Events who focus on Techno events here in Pōneke.
• Claire-voyant is one of the founders of Torque Sounds and the original Girls Torque event back in London.
• Fluffcore is the Co-founder of TGF known for their dark techno events.
