Siren is a four piece indie-rock band from Wellington's south coast. Their key influences include The Last Dinner Party, Fleetwood Mac and Sharon Van Etten. Siren is a new band on the scene with their debut EP to be released later this year. On August 5th, Siren will play their debut gig at Moon bar Newtown. Siren will be supported by the well seasoned and proven Wellington legends Adonye. Inspired by the raw emotion of grungerock legends like Soundgarden and A Perfect Circle, coupled with the crafted songwriter style of Elliot Smith, Adoneye write with clarity and honesty. They achieved national success with their win of the 2024 Battle of the Bands, including 1st place awards for best singing, and best songwriting.
