MEANING 1
This is a Live Performance Artwork about the meaninglessness of meaning. Sandy Loam will viciously disturb a pile of clay until one breaks, overlain by a harrowing composition curated gOMME hOMME. This is a group exhibition showcasing some of the most exciting artists, DJs and performers in Aotearoa. Enter MEANING 1 on August 14th, 6pm-1am, at The Button Factory, 2 Abbey Street.

Sandy Loam
Francis Page Gummer

You can expect a nonconformist and mesmerising series of events that will unfold in front of you. Dance to sounds curated by DJs and Performers, including mixes of hyperpop, ambience, avant-trance and outrageous freaky techno. Everything is meaningful because we say so. The performance is about the meaning of the performance itself and rather our processes around it; how we continually force a shape into a formless consciousness.
