Groop Chat - This GroopChat has three members… no admin!
Huia (bass,vocals) Aiyana (guitar,vocals) Teina (drums/vocals) formed in 2023 and have been ripping through Tamaki Makaurau with a massive sound drawn from the heart, they create a blend of heavy angst, catchy pop like hooks and indie groove.
Fishing - Fishing is a 3-piece hailing from Tāmaki Makaurau and Ōtepoti. Their sound is angular, dynamic, and often improvisational, drawing influence from fields of post/noise rock, with a specific interest in guitar driven experimentation. They are best friends, and love playing together!
Ex-Partner is the vehicle for the songwriter and sound artist Tony Drent. Their work is influenced by the moodier textures within experimental, electronic and post-punk music. Throughout their many projects Ex-Partner has supported the likes of Drab Majesty, Lydia Lunch and Flipper. Following the release of debut album Lore-Core (2025), Ex-Partner now performs as a three-piece band with partner Eleanor Haydn and friend Paul Brown. Together, they make a dark, guitar-driven sound with pulsating electronic beats and haunting vocal harmonies.
