DEADSTATIC PRESENTS - SEPTEMBER SOUNDS

September Sounds crashes into Big Fan with an energetic lineup of bands curated by DeadStatic on Sunday the 13th of September. An all-ages and licensed event specifically created to shine light on youth bands with high potential. Perfectly designed to blend all different kinds of rock, these youth bands are sure to give you what you’re looking for. Whether it’s punk, heavy or classic rock, you’ll find exactly what you’re most craving here.

Opening the night is Arsenic, a band best known for their devotion for performing pop punk/post hardcore music. Arsenic is a four-piece band created in 2024 from West Auckland. This band also placed first place in the 2025 Smokefree Rockquest Central Auckland Finals, an incredible achievement that really helped push them into the music community.

Next up, Ingress, the most whimsical of bands. Ingress is a Tāmaki Makaurau based punk rock band with political, hard-hitting lyrics. For a high school band, they’ve made a pretty big name for themselves. They opened for hit Australian band Hot Machine, placed 4th in the North Shore Smokefree Rockquest Finals, won the APRA award for best lyrics and won best vocals. They are always bringing their all to their gigs and excel in putting on shows people won’t forget.

After that is Estatica. Estatica is a North Shore based band who delivers on everything they do. Being known for their high intensity, energetic classic rock, Estatica is a band whose performance you will not want to miss. Their chemistry makes them stand out most, with their stage presence and audience interactions being where they really excel. This band’s songwriter won the musicianship award, that's how you know they got good stuff.

The final act, the headliners of the night, is VAИDAL. VAИDAL are a five piece band based out of the lower north shore. Their music mainly falls into the genre of alternative metal, but has a range of different influences from each member, which shapes the band's sound into what it is. In September last year, VAИDAL won the ‘Audience Choice Award’ and the ‘Best Up and Coming Band Award’ at a competition they played in at the Tuning Fork, which led to them recording their hit single SKRUFF, which you can listen to on all platforms.

Come along and support some local youth rock! A portion of the proceeds will also be donated directly to MusicHelps, so come support this amazing organisation too.

Doors open 5:30pm, Show starts at 6:00pm.
The bar will be open.
All wrapped up by 9-9:30pm.
