Hospital Records’ 30th anniversary celebrations are heading to Wellington on Saturday 17 October, bringing three decades of drum & bass history to Aotearoa for one huge night.
Founded in 1996 by Tony Colman and Chris Goss, Hospital Records has grown into one of the world’s most influential independent drum & bass labels. Known for its creative vision, forward-thinking releases and strong sense of community, the label’s flagship Hospitality events have become internationally recognised celebrations of drum & bass culture.
Leading the Wellington anniversary lineup is Hospital veteran Danny Byrd, whose unmistakable blend of soulful vocals, rave energy, hip-hop, house and R&B has produced some of the scene’s most enduring anthems. He is joined by Unglued, known for his heavy bass weight, fearless genre-blending and deep respect for D&B history, alongside rising Bristol producer Hoax, whose rumbling basslines and high-energy sets have earned support from Sub Focus, Rudimental, DJ Marky and more.
Whether you have been part of the Hospital family since day one, joined somewhere along the way or are only just discovering the label, this is your invitation to celebrate 30 years of Hospital Records and be part of what comes next.
