Rumpus Machine bring their talent and energy to The Stables Matakana once again, and this time every dollar from ticket sales goes to the Matakana Volunteer Fire Brigade.
This four-sibling outfit from Auckland has built a following on the strength of their live show alone: 460,000+ followers, 300+ gigs, 2nd place at the 2025 Rockquest Nationals, and a slot at Legacy Fest 2026 alongside Hello Sailor and the Jordan Luck Band. They've also picked up the Pat McMinn Rising Star Award and the AJ Hackett #Thrashmore songwriting title, and kicked off the year with two new originals, Magic Man and Someday, adding to a catalogue of around 20 songs across Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music. Expect original Kiwi reggae rock alongside covers spanning seven decades, delivered with a polish well beyond their years.
Both the band and the Stables team are excited to bring this one to Matakana. The Matakana Fire Brigade is volunteer-run, which means every callout, every training night and every truck roll comes from people giving up their own time for the community.
The Matakana Fire Brigade crew will be onsite from the start of the event with the truck, so get down early for a chat and some photos before the band takes over.
All ages event. Music is fully indoors, with mixed seating available both inside and out. There are no table reservations, so it's first in, first seated on the day. Under 5s are free. The ticket price includes a small Flicket transaction fee, with the full $5 going straight to the brigade.
