Tony Hale welcomes you to the eleventh edition of this popular concert, which has the fun theme of ‘How many strings can a fingerpicker pick?‘
We start with a single-stringed bow and move through instruments more familiar to Folk Club audiences with four and six strings, up to more unusual instruments with more than thirty strings!
Each artist will explain how they organise their fingers around the strings, learning from a teacher or other musicians or modern tech such as YouTube.
