Dead Cherry are are making waves with their high energy slice of old school rock ‘n roll, keeping it raw and real. Their debut EP Mother was released late last year. Fast, heavy, fun, and emotive, their live shows are not to be missed.
SEISMIC STATE
High-octane alt-rock with a blues-funk soul.
A staple of the New Zealand rock circuit, the Wellington quartet is known for a professional, high-energy live show. Since the release of their debut EP State of Things, which earned international airplay and a Top 58 spot on The Generator FM’s Kiwi 101, the band has consistently anchored bills at iconic venues including San Fran and Valhalla.
STEERPYKE
Steerpyke is a three-piece band playing a mix of originals and off-beat covers in and around the darker end of the post-punk genre.
Formed in Wellington during COVID19, Nigel Baxter (bass, vox) and Adam Gray (guitar, vox) originally met on a Weekend Warriors session. James Gilberd, drummer and stalwart of the local alternative music scene, joined in 2023. They reached the regional finals of Battle of the Bands in 2026.
