Bow Wow (Shad Gregory Moss) is gracing the shores of New Zealand this September for his very first time, with a smash hit club tour known as the, “Underrated Tour” hitting Auckland only in the Exclusive 1st visit to the land of the long white cloud, bringing his big west coast beats with over 12 years worth of serious hits.
Originally known as Lil Bow Wow releasing his first album “Beware of Dog” in 2000 at the age of 13, signed by record heavy weight Jermaine Dupri with the hit singles, “Bounce With Me”, “Puppy Love” and the hit “Bow Wow (That’s My Name)”.
In 2001 Lil Bow Wow came back with his 2nd studio album “Doggy Bag”, with the huge singles “Thank you” & “Take Ya Home”, Later that year, Ice Cube invited Lil Bow Wow to do a cameo on his action comedy movie “All About The Benjamin’s” in a very small role.
Lil Bow Wow made his lead role debt on a fantasy sports-comedy film “Like Mike”, where he plays an orphan who finds a used pair of Michael Jordan which makes who ever wears them play like Mike, in this basketball NBA family film, being a huge success and acting with his NBA hero’s such as Vince Carter, Jason Kidd, Allen Iverson and many more, the film was released in 2002 grossing $63 million and cementing Lil Bow Wow as a viable actor.
“Unleashed” is Bow Wow’s coming of age album dropping the “Lil” from his stage name and producing the hits “My Baby” and “Let’s Get Down”, the single that introduce Bow Wow to the Bird Man and the Ca$h Money Music Team.
2004 saw Bow Wow back on the big screen playing support to Cedric the Entertainer, Vanessa Williams, Solange Knowles and Steve Harvey in the comedy “Johnson Family Vacation”.
A host of guest appearances on TV shows such as “Moesha”, “Ugly Betty”, “Smallville” and “Entourage” to keep his profile hot, also more movie appearances on “Fast and the Furious:
Tokyo Drift”, “Hurricane Season”, “Roll Bounce” and “Madea’s Big Happy Family”.
Once again Bow Wow starred in a comedy across from his good friend ICE CUBE “Lottery Ticket” where Bow Wow’s character wins a $370 million dollar lottery and all the antics that take place by everyone to get that ticket from him.
Bow Wow drops the album “Wanted” (2005) with the single “Like You”, “Let Me Hold You” and “Fresh Azimiz” – next Bow Wow released “The Price of Fame” & “Face Off” (2006 & 2007), had great hits, “Shortie Like Mine”, “Outta My System”, “Girlfriend” and “Hey Baby (Jump Off)”.
(2009) Bow Wow drops “New Jack City Part ll”, bringing in a load of R&B artists to collaborate
with, such as T.I, Chris Brown, Ciara, but later that year Bow Wow signed with Ca$h Money Records.
In 2012 his first release of his new label will hit “Underrated” which will also feature his label mates,
Nicki Minaj, Drake, Lil Wayne as well as Snoop, Sean Kingston, DMX to name a few.
