Luger Boa are a wild, genre-bending force straight out of Auckland Rock City. Fronted by Jimmy Christmas (The D4), and featuring the mighty talents of Simon Nichols (HLAH/City Newton Bombers) and Joe Mac (Demons of Noon) this run sees the band joined by the exceptional 6 stringed skills of Jake Harding (Ratso/The D4).
Blending twisted glam, punk, soul, and rocknroll into a chaotic cocktail that’s as stylish as it is savage, their shows are notorious for high-voltage energy, unpredictability, and what one reviewer dubbed “like being dipped in mustard and interrogated by the Devil.” Channeling The Stooges, Bowie, T-Rex, Buzzcocks and Thin Lizzy, Luger Boa serve up swagger, sleaze, and sonic punch in an equal unhinged measure.
