The Moonrakers are the loudest rock and roll band in Oamaru’s history. Currently comprised of Eden Bradfield (guitar, vocals), Thomas Mcmillan (guitar) and Austen Mcmillan (drums) their caveman-style riff-driven music has chronicled the loss of The Best Japanese Restaurant For Miles, riled thousands of people who thought they were in for a concert of Bach, and been compared to bands as diverse as Flipper, Black Sabbath and The Electric Eels.
