Gig Information

Greetings friends... Its been a while, but our bellies are rumbling, and were getting ready to sit down together once more!

Golden Dawn have teamed up again with our compadres in culinary curiosity - Eat Here Now - to present a new series of gullet-warming dinners over these more frozen months.

These monthly evening suppers will be loosely local and loved themed; focusing on quality producers we think are excellent and are from our region.

Kicking off Sunday July 28th at 5pm, weve invited the good people at Mahurangi oysters, Il Casaro mozzarella and Salash cured meats to join us, with this first feast prepared once again by our wonderful chef Becks Pilley.

As always the meals will be communal and shared, with guests seated along one long table in our transformed indoor bar space.

To augment your dining experience, weve hired local violin & banjo slingers Dave Khan and David Ward and our dusty old in-house DJ Mr Crawley.

Mahurangi Oysters. Shallot sherry vinegar or chipotle tabasco

Il Casaro burrata mozzarella w/ fresh chilli, olive oil & flaky sea salt
Warm spelt loaves w/ tarragon garlic butter
