After a two-year journey of musical rediscovery and regrowth, Deirdre Newall (ex-Delgirl) is delighted to announce the release of her much anticipated first solo album Tiny Pieces of Eight and a three-centre national tour.
Described as Psychedelic Folk meets Delta Swamp Blues, Tiny Pieces of Eight is a collage of songs, sounds and words made with the additional spicy collaborative mix of musicians that include: Grant Ramsay (Swampy), Chris Heazlewood (King Loser), Elise Allen (Skybus) and Sam Wilkinson (Von Klap).
Newall is joined on tour by Ramsay and Heazlewood - who will also be performing many of their own songs - along with special guest A. J. Sharma, with the release of his album, You Are A Traveller, Powertool Records.
