This Easter the Waiheke Island International Jazz Festival serves up an all-star line-up of talent across four all-weather venues. Over 100 musicians will perform over the 3 days.
A diverse range of musical genre and styles perform at this years’ event – the Phoenix Foundation headline the Good Friday Groove in a diverse line-up that also features Five Mile Town and Jan Hellreigel, but with the focus mainly on Jazz, the island plays host to some of the top local and International touring acts – including Solid Brew from Germany and George Washingmachine from Australia, the Nairobi Trio (NZ), the hilarious Wellington City Shake-Em-On-Downers and Lyttelton’s “the Eastern” to name just a few.
