Dayna Sanerivi: The Christchurch earthquake of 2011 ended her formal jazz studies but since moving to Nelson three years ago, Dayna has become one of the city's top vocalists. She is working on her first solo album while running song writing workshops and working as a vocal coach. In this quartet setting, she fuses her soul and R&B roots to some well loved jazz standards.
Paul Gilmour: Has worked in a variety of musical settings and backed artists as diverse as Fiona Pears, L. A. Mitchell and JenniferWard- Leyland. He founded gypsy band La Pompe, which played in last year's Arts Festival.
Dai Minamizawa: is a piano and keyboard player, a graduate of Yamaha music school in Tokyo, where he studied Jazz, Pop & Latin piano after 12 years of classical piano training. Dai spent 20 years in South East Asia, as pianist for the house band at Brown Sugar Jazz Bar in Bangkok, & contributed to pop music recordings and played at Latin Jazz Festivals. Now in Nelson he is piano and keyboard player for ZAWA jazz, FreeWheelin', Bourbon Street Beats, DAISUKE, R & D Duo, & Cafe Latino.
Xavier Birch: Has been playing drums for more than 10 years and teaching drums full time for the past year. He couldn't resist the invitation to play with Paul's band as they are such talented musicians and he knew he would enjoy playing with them.
