Set on End formed in Auckland, New Zealand in 2005, independently releasing their debut EP 'Means to an End' in early 2009. They have since shared the stage with international acts such as Trivium, Whitechapel, Poison the Well, Canada's Cancer Bats and the UK's Bring Me the Horizon and Architects.
The band are currently writing new music for an upcoming, full-length album. With a second guitarist added to their lineup (TBA), the aggressive, groove-oriented rhythm sections found within 'Means to an End' are set to evolve into a richer, more dynamic scape.

Created early in 2007 and carved out of the local Wanganui metal scene, Pariah emerged playing a solid New-Zealand-groove style of metal.
With every show/gig since 2007, Pariah grow tighter and progress, as it shows with their music.
15/11/08 brought the first release of the band's music, the 'Humanageddon Ep'. It was only sold at a friends local music store and at live shows but managed to sell out all copies within only a few months, which was a sign of great things to come.
After gigging, touring and shows supporting the likes of Sinate, Tainted, Subtract & Just One Fix, Pariah went back into the studio to record their next effort.
'MASS' was released 13/12/12 and summoned a new era for Pariah, making them heavier, faster and more dynamic than before.
Since the release of 'MASS' the band has supported more NZ musical kings such as New Way Home, Fornax Chemica & Decortica.
Pariah continues to push the boundaries of their sound, but still retaining their roots and early influences, which in this day and age is rarely seen.
2014 will bring a lot for Pariah, as they are currently in the writing and pre-production stage for their massive 3 part concept called 'Age Of The Sun' and in the form of 3 full length albums titled 'Path To Orion', 'To Align The Stars' and 'Of Valleys And Mountains'.
