So this Saturday our favourite samba ensemble are here to brighten up your weekend.
Founded in October 2011 Só Samba are primarily a samba band, the members bring their own influences which include bossa nova, reggae, popular Brazilian music and others. Consisting of 3 Brazilians and 2 Kiwis the band are always adding new material to their repertoire to keep the shows exciting and fresh for their fan base.
Só Samba have played at Havana, San Francisco Bath House, Bebemos, Baobab, Southern Cross, Meow, Eclipse and Tangerine in Wellington, in Mount Maunganui at Armazém. The band also plays at weddings and private/corporate functions recently playing at the 2013 Queensgate Retail Awards at the Hotel Intercontinental in Wellington and the 2014 Wellington Jazz Festival.
