STIGMATA:
https://www.facebook.com/stigmatasrilanka'fref=ts
A merging of styles, a wedlock of concepts and themes, intricate shades bleed to subtle shadows. It's not for the faint of heart or the narrow minded. It's for those who like to live on the edge, embracing their passion or purpose and are willing to explore something uncanny.
Something that will move and touch and speak to you. .
Stigmata are celebrating 15 years of Pure Sri Lankan Metal ass kickery and are prepared to unleash their fourth and new Album 'The Ascetic Paradox' this October in Colombo, Sri Lanka and then internationally in New Zealand kick starting the Paradox Tour.
As the premier and pioneering Progressive Metal quintet Stigmata have represented Sri Lanka and headlined festivals in Australia, India, Malaysia, Maldives, Dubai and performed to 30,000 at the Dhaka Army Stadium in Bangladesh. Now for the first time in history Stigmata are the first Sri Lankan Metal band to play in New Zealand in celebration of their 15 years and 4th Album release. .
Stigmata have been featured twice on the Discovery Channel; have had all three of their records 2003's Hollow Dreams, 2006's Silent Chaos Serpentine and 2010's Psalms of Conscious Martyrdom picked as Year End Favorites across the globe.

Fallen Order – Wellington
https://www.facebook.com/FallenOrderBand'fref=ts
Formed in 2005, Fallen Order have played up and down the country, sharing the stage with great bands such as Dragonforce, Korpiklaani, Vanishing Point and Lord. Their style blends heavy, thrash and power metal together, combining to make a great original sound and a exciting live show. 'The Age Of Kings' CD gathered great reviews from around the world, including the prestigious Rock Hard magazine in Germany. Airplay in the USA led them to signing a deal with Stormspell Records for the worldwide re-release of 'The Age of Kings'. This will be their last show before starting their Australia and NZ tour to promote their new album.

D.I.C - Hamilton

Are one of the pioneering Grindcore/Filthcore bands in New Zealand. They are offensive and disgusting and their songs are written to insult. Their live performance is one no crowd ever forgets easily and with a new lineup they are at the top of their game and ready to take their brand of Grindcore to the masses. Recent shows include Distorted 20 Festival opening for Anvil in Auckland in 2014, headlining GRINDCORE FOR LIFE #2 Festival in Melbourne Australia in May 2015 and a 9 date tour around the North Island of New Zealand in July/August 2015. 2016 see’s them venturing off shore again being the first New Zealand band to tour Australasia with Metalliance Touring.

https://www.facebook.com/piecesofmolly'fref=ts
This four piece line-up of Ewen Glasgow (Vocals & Lead Guitar), Doug Stewart (Bass), Jonty O’Connor (Drums) & Sam Kubiak (Rhythm Guitar) is like a Rock N‘ Roll Dream Team. Thunderous bass lines prowl menacingly underneath crunchy twin guitar grooves. Its a classic cocktail of Hard Rock, Blues and Metal, best enjoyed from the front row

Meat – Wellington
https://www.facebook.com/meatmetalnz'fref=ts
Prime Cut Metal Since 2008. BBQ's and brews are quick to follow when Meat shows up for a show. Party hard and you will be rewarded with something spectacular, lead by Meat. Starting in Wellington the band has played many shows, hitting the stages of the James Cabaret, Valhalla, Bodega, Fast Eddies and the odd house party. Characterised by their groovy, thrashy, raw meat sound they have opened for bands such as ANVIL and other names soon to be added to the list

Welcome to the Defetal house of horrors….

Akashic Index – Wellington
https://www.facebook.com/AKASHICINDEX'fref=ts
A 5 piece band hailing from wellington. The members all come from other bands and between us all have loads of musical knowledge/experience. We just love writing and playing live. High energy songs and not afraid to push the boundaries.

Hatred – Invercargil
https://www.facebook.com/HatredNz'fref=ts
HATRED play Brutal Old School Death Metal
Heavily Influenced by Cannibal Corpse, Obituary, Sepultura, Brujeria, Autopsy, HATRED gives the genre their own groove and style.
The audience can expect a polished, grinding, and brutal attack from a band that has spent most of the last 20 years honing their skill.
What to expect – One word - Brutality

Bloodshot – Wellington
https://www.facebook.com/BloodshotOfficialNZ'fref=ts
Are the youngest bands performing at the events. Formed in 2010 at Intermediate School the oldest member is 19 and the youngest 16. They are making waves in the Wellington Music scene and have played some impressive shows given their young ages, including the Misty Mountain Hop Festival twice and the Wairarapa Summer Rally.
