Finn Johansson has been rambling around Europe for the last year and a half, hypnotising crowds in living rooms, bars and theatres alike, including a sold out tour through Germany and Denmark with Irish sensations Keeva.
While on an unexpected stint in Liverpool he settled into life on an 80 year old wooden ship where he wrote, recorded and self-produced 18 songs, the best of which have been distilled into his debut album, available now.
He's back in town and fresh off a successful South Island tour, and breaking a heart near you!
Here's what some select Europeans had to say:
'...the precocious Antipodean’s lo-fi supremacy is nigh on impossibly apparent...'
Dots and Dashes (London)
'...The charm works slow infusion and eventually to loop his best pieces...'
Life is a Minstrone (France)
And New Zealanders...
This album is full of gems. Songs that will make you smile, laugh and bring a tear to your eye. This is an album that will take you on an emotional rollercoaster.

Finn will be performing on a double bill with The Things We Do:
100% free-range, organic physical comedy performed by comic-genius Sarah Tuck. It exposes the unspoken truth about the silly, quirky and outright weird things we all do when we think no one is looking. Chasing all the likely supermarket suspects through more shenanigans than we would normally admit to, it’s a spontaneous and vivacious show that stands out from the shelf. To the beat of the classic supermarket playlist, it is literally the things we all do… and a few of the things we wish we could do too!
