Gig Information

Tablefox return with their anticipated debut album, ‘Objects’, to be released 20 November 2015. To support the release, the band will be hitting the road for an upper North Island tour with support from 'Running Stitch' at The Old Stone Butter Factory, 8 Butter Factory Lane, Whangarei - 8pm, 5th December 2015.

The five piece rock band from Auckland are developing a reputation as a powerful and honest live act, and promise more of the same while on tour in celebration of their new album. Tablefox have released two singles from the album; ‘Something Better’ and ‘New World’. Both are guitar driven pieces that encourage the listener to think about their place in the world. Light and perfect summer songs with elements of folk/indie flavours and a rock undertone that a lot of kiwis will love.

Much has happened for Auckland band Tablefox since the Passenger EP - 2013. Evolving from an honest three piece into a dynamic five piece has seen their sonic palette broaden to include weaving dual guitar lines and uplifting harmonies, creating an intense tapestry of light and shade in their music. Gigs have been played and audiences built by honing the songs that has become the Objects album.

Objects will be available via all major online streaming services including Spotify and iTunes. Pre-orders will be available via iTunes Friday 30th October 2015.

Formed in early 2015 Running Stitch is a three piece Alternative Rock band from Auckland, New Zealand Running Stitch's music can best be described as alternative rock that blends rhythmic guitars, with melodic vocals, and expressive lyrics that are distinctive, and honest. Active members and promoters of the New Zealand music scene, the band loves playing live and interacting with audiences. Current Band motto: F*ck we are Fun

A distinctive sound, a curious mix of grunge rock and pop with a quirky folk style of delivery. Aletta’s melodic singing is stimulating and charming, very warm and expressive with a playful edge. - Andrew Smit - Muzicnet nz.

A low-key PJ Harvey, or Cat Power reference wouldn't be too far off, and there's a mix of moods and tempos within, leaving you want to hear more. - Ania Glowacz - NZ Musician Magazine.
