Gig Information

Born in Galway City, Aindrias primarily grew up in the West of Ireland. But, by his teenage years, the globe-roving youth would be as familiar with the nearby Mayo Gaeltacht as he would with the Spanish speaking Mission district of San Francisco. From Hobo to Boho via Soho, this multilingual traveling entertainer has delighted audiences around the world with his unique humour, lively storytelling and captivating music.

In recent years the electric, eccentric and undoubtedly eclectic Aindrias de Staic has made the headlines in the theatre internationally for his highly acclaimed one man shows. His rare mix of spoken word poetry with virtuoso violin has proved to be a compelling combination to which audience world wide applaud.

Award winning music/comedy/storytelling show about football, mayhem and magic! Throughout the performance, de Staic uses his exquisite fiddle playing to adorn and embellish the narrative.

Winner Galway Water Best Comedy - Galway Fringe 2014
Winner Three Weeks Editors Award - Edinburgh Fringe 2009
Nominated for Malcolm Hardee Award 2008 for Comic Originality
