Deathnir (pronounced death near) is New Zealand's very own state-of-the-art old-school/thrash Metal band. Hailing from the ashes of Metal kings such as Metallica, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and others, Deathnir perform with the energy, intensity, and determination to kick your ass with only the best music in the southern hemi-sphere! Leathur Tattoo is a five piece Rock n’ Roll band based in Auckland. Formed in 2013, the band has been writing and performing their original music all over the North Island with shows in Auckland, Wellington, Hamilton, Tauranga and The Mount. They play a style of music that is made to be played lived and capture the energy of a live atmosphere. With influences ranging from The Rolling Stones, Guns n’ Rose’s, Lynyrd Skynyrd to Muddy Waters, The Eagles and Chuck Berry it is easy to see why they thrive on live music.
Blood Buffalo formed in Auckland in late 2014 when the brothers Caleb (Vocals/Guitar) and Nate (Bass) who are inspired by Wolfmother, Jack White, My Morning Jacket, and Led Zeppelin met Damien, the lead guitarist who grew up on Skid Row and Guns N’ Roses.They then finally met Alexander who honed his chops listening to Black Sabbath, John Mayall, Deep Purple and The Rolling Stones. As a result, Blood Buffalo created a bluesy hard rock sound turned up to 11. Seeing them live is an experience, high energy, unpredictable, and loud.
Together since July 2013, Black Alpine is a rocking four piece from Auckland city who strive to bring the balls back to the rock music scene. This up and coming rifftastic rock outfit is ready to take the world by storm. With influences from funk, blues, thrash and classic metal, Black Alpine delivers a great style of Rock'n'Roll. Black Alpine's stage show is something to experience first hand; A wild show of in-your-face rock'n'roll and attitude that has been lost since the classic rock era.
