DJ Paulão spins sets that celebrate the rhythm of Brazilian music, mixed with the best grooves from the African Diaspora. From soul to dub, from classic funk to old school hip hop to Latin boogaloo, always 100% vinyl.
Since 1994, he has been spinning all over Brazil. Also played in London, Barcelona, Paris, Berlin, Zurich, Vienna, Lisbon, Bologna, Brussels, Bratislava, Lyon, Amsterdam, among others, in 12 european tours. lture, an exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Chicago and the Bronx Museum of Art, and in 2012 helped with Marcelo Machado’s film Tropicalia.
Today Paulao runs Patuá Discos, a vinyl only shop in Vila Madalena, Sao Paulo and of course, spinning all over the world and making everybody dance
DJ Bobby Brazuka is the unofficial Brazilian ambassador of music and culture in New Zealand and also a great representative of the New Zealand musical style in his Motherland Brazil.
This cultural exchange has been Bobby’s passion for the last 12 years.
Either throughout his radio show on George Fm every Sunday night, djing in clubs and bars around New Zealand and Australia or doing his live outfit with his comrades Isaae Aesili and Jennifer Zea aka Latinaotearoa in Festivals around Australasia, Bobby has become an Iconic persona in both Latin America and Oceania continents scenes.
With his distinguished palate for Samba, Soul, Funk, Reggae and Hip Hop amongst a host of other styles he is certain make you move.
