“It’s the pervading sense of fun together with a respect for antique jazz, blues, plantation work songs, doo-wop and funk that gives Hopetoun Brown their edge”
-Metro magazine-
The brave Hopetouns have been down South for weeks grafting and honking their way over the country's highest mountains. After an inspiring journey that's hardened their lips to be tougher than Golden Bay granite they can't resist hitting some high notes at their favourite Auckland haunt, The Wine Cellar. They also have their favourite guest star and Southern touring buddy Finn Scholes aboard. We expect Scholes will haul along a wide variety of instruments from his curiously leafy Ponsonby bolt-hole. The night will consist two unmissable harmony drenched midweek sets!! New material! Jazz journeys! Americana interludes! Perhaps a tune from the '80s!' Come party with us!!
