Newtown Rocksteady has been bringing the sound and values of the original rocksteady movement to festivals, events and established New Zealand venues, with a generous dose of soul and a solid helping of skank, since 2007.
Newtown Rocksteady often features guest appearances from New Zealand music heavyweights, such as MC Israel Starr, members of Fly My Pretties and The Phoenix Foundation.
And now, for the first time, Newtown Rocksteady slides all its songs into the dub arena.
