Auckland emo pop quartet OPENSIDE take off on a national tour next month supporting the release of latest single No Going Back.
The group headlines the Seamless tour presented by Spark – a series of spe-cial all ages events in Christchurch, Palmerston North, Wellington and Hamil-ton.
No Going Back has already been lighting up the national streaming and radio charts. It’s an exciting time for Openside to hit the road and play to the young audience
“Playing all ages shows is important to us,” says Openside lead singer Possum Plows.
“We hear from kids all over New Zealand who are eager to go out to shows and be part of the local music scene but they are often blocked out by R18 venues. When we were growing up, there were so many more opportunities to see live music and we want to bring that culture back.”
Joining Openside on the tour is fresh Auckland pop duo Foley. Nomad are also on the bill in their hometown of Christchurch while Jon Lemmon joins the show in Palmerston North and Wellington.
Auckland all ages audiences have already been treated to a series of thrilling Seamless shows headlined by Drax Project, MAALA, Theia and most recently, Yoko-Zuna.
It’s a chance for audiences around the country to catch some of the most ex-citing local acts under the Seamless banner.
