Sam Cullen is a singer/songwriter based in Invercargill, New Zealand whose mature, unpretentious, yet experimental style of alternative pop music defies what might be expected of a teenager from the deep south and is accredited to a wide range and understanding of influences from artists such as Radiohead to Ed Sheeran and genres from Jazz to EDM and everything in between.
Having received accolades such as Southland Junior Entertainer of the Year in 2017 and nominations in 2018’s awards, he is quickly establishing himself as one of Southland’s top musicians. His debut release ‘Small Town’ has laid a unique foundation for what is to come and is playlisted on Air New Zealand domestic and international flights.
