To mark the release of their self-titled debut album, Auckland synth-pop group Polyester are embarking on a nationwide tour. Kicking off in Palmerston North on July 6th, the band will be playing Wellington and Christchurch before a homecoming gig in Auckland July 27th. Having been a staple of Auckland’s live scene since 2016 and playing at Auckland’s Laneway Festival 2018, this will be the first chance for fans in the rest of Aotearoa to catch Polyester in the flesh. “We’re so excited to play with our favourite bands from around the country,” says keyboard player and songwriter Amelia Berry.
