On The Pontoon In Oriental Bay (A short script by Luke Lament)
Daniel (Datu): (After reaching the pontoon using his bass as a paddle board.) Do you plan on attending Valhalla on 15th September?
Isaac: (Licking a ciggy butt gelato.) I haven\'t decided yet. Are you going to go?
Daniel (Datu): (Lays down on the pontoon in the sun and enters a dreamy state of mind.) Yes, I\'m going, because it\'s going to be so much fun. Oh and we are meant to be playing.
Isaac: (Alerted by the lack of band communication.) For real? What time is the gig?
Daniel (Datu): The party is at 8pm, I’ll be getting bedazzled at 7pm and I hope to see you there.
Isaac: (Pauses to imagine Datu being bedazzled and everything that could mean.) Maybe I will go. Who else is playing?
Daniel (Datu): (Dramatically throws his arms in the air.) The whole school is going to be there! Plus EgoValve, Pale Lady and ELK!
Isaac: (Threw the last bit of his ice cream over his shoulder. Caught mid air by a snapper. No one seemed to notice.) Cool! But what’s going to set this party above the rest? What\'s going to be so much fun about this party?
Daniel (Datu): (Took time to construct his answer.) Well there\'s going to be a live music, drinks and everyone will be wearing shoes. So many shoes.. (Datu drools)
Isaac: I see..
Splashy Boi: I won’t be wearing shoes. It seems like it will be a very good time though.
Daniel (Datu): So I guess I\'ll see you both there?
Isaac: Indeed! I need to join the fun. Catch up. (Isaac slithered into the ocean.
