Bands:

Kaosis
The Kaosis feat Salem Squad production is bigger than ever and is now an 11 piece cyberpunk juggernaut. Kaosis are like Slipknot getting destroyed by the Prodigy in the middle of a riot at a psychedelic circus. Kaosis are a devastating live bass metal music production that features the extremely talented Salem Squad hype girls.
Genre: Cyberpunk


Salem Squad
The three delinquent harlequins of live performance art. This uniquely dynamic trio spit flames, spin lasers and put the danger back into rock n roll.


Checaine
Checaine are a melodic hard rock band that bring powerful hooks to their songs and a progressive style that keeps the music evolving and exciting. Formed in 2011 by Fraser Coombes (vocals) and Regan Aspden (Guitars), they are now accompanied by Pete Westbury on drums and Chris Prenter on bass.
Genre: Hard Rock


Pale Flag
Pale Flag has opened for several notable international acts and are known for their high energy live show, Pale Flag plays hard hitting music aimed to get the crowd moshing. Their debut single & music video for the track In This Moment is available now on all major digital platforms.
Genre: Metalcore


Enoch
Known for their innovative song structures and dark/heavy undertones, the band brings forth an in-your-face style that touches on equal parts originality and familiarity; giving their audience a taste of something fresh as well as identifiable.

Godzilla Takes New York
GTNY I was released on the 4th of February 2017, reaching #1 on the iTunes NZ Metal charts. The debut release received a bombardment of positive reviews. Godzilla Takes New York are continuously working hard to bring their pop-culture strain of metal and their high-energy performances to metal fans across New Zealand.

Parath
Parath influences including Trivium, Arch Enemy, Amon Amarth, Nightwish and Within Temptation who seek to make their own unique blend of melodic heavy metal.

Leave the Dead
Leave The Dead is a band that just plays out and out metal. No trends, no fads, they just play what the band wants. After various bass player changes the band are currently looking at November 2018 to record a release, while many demos can be found online.
Genre: Metal


Alpha Coda
Inspired by those behemoths that came before – The Smashing
Pumpkins, Tool, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains, and Deftones, and fuelled by contemporaries like Northlane, Alterbridge, and Muse – Alpha Coda writes, performs, and records their original music for their
own satisfaction and the enjoyment of anyone who comes across it.
Genre: Hard Rock

Noise Control
Noise Control are a two piece live unscripted drum and bass act. Formed early 2018 by Matt Mooney and Timmy Fokkema, and joined by Richard Bennet and other guest MC’s. Noise control sets are completely made up on the spot and features a wide variety of bass orientated influences.

Notachord
Notachord are a three-piece drum n bass act here to defy the laws of what is right in modern music and unleash their doom laden awesomeness onto all who lay their ears.

Entertainers:

Aura Sativa
Be prepared to be spell bound by Aura Sativa as she blows your mind with her gracious and mesmerizing pole routine. Aura will be performing twice on the mainstage.

Ms Ruby Rebel
Hailing from Auckland Ruby Rebel will be setting the stage alight with two amazing lyra hoop routines. When Ruby Rebel isn’t performing loop she moonlights as a pro neo burlesque dancer and alt model. These performances will leave you dazd and confused.

Electronic Artists:

Melicious
Mel drops bangers all night; from rock to dubstep no genre escapes Mels sets. Mel is headlining the Electronic Zone for good reason, she gets people moving and knows how to bring the party to it’s apex. Legen

Paul T Gheist
Since making his DJing debut earlier this year, Paul T Gheist has been itching to lay down another live set, this time bringing an even harder and groovier storm of classic dubstep and electro-house twisted up with rock/metal remixes. Let’s get ruckus!

Monshi
�Monshi is the hottest new female talent to hit the decks since Alison Wonderland. Monshi is half Yolande Visser, Half baby metal. She relentlessly spins heavy riddims and dnb into djent and new wave american heavy metal. A pint sized powerhouse, Monshi is ready to drop some bass and crack some skulls.

N6S
N6S is stepping out from the shadows and is dropping his first solo set outside of his role in Kaosis. N6S morphs huge riddims with seething bass and huge robotic impacts. This is going to be a monstrous set before N6S takes the stage with Kaosis later that night.

VIVIVI
The elusive VIVIVI will be spinning some dnb and dubstep to kick the Electronic Stage off.

DJ ZERO
After a whirl wind tour across the darkest clubs of South America DJ Zero is back in NZ and ready to smash some rails.

Trap/ Hip Hop/ Horrorcore:

KYD X
Urban legends don't come along very often, But when they do they shine brighter than the rest. Kyd X is one of those anomalies that only reveals itself when the timing is right. That time is now.

Morbidian
Morbidian savagely defies boundaries merging Hardcore Horrorcore rap with Noisia inspired bass lines. His flows are uniquely powerful and his stage presence is massive. If you like Dope DOD with a solid dosage of bass wobble then Morbidian is going blow you away.

Ignight Beatz
This will be the first time hip hop group Ignite Beatz play Rail Fest but with the solid underground rep they have been flaunting they surely will light the stage up on the 22nd.

4 and Rotary Show and Shine Demo.

4 and Rotaries will be out in force at Rail Fest with a mini show and shine to wet your taste buds for the 4 and Rotary nationals in January. The crew are bringing down 12 of their hottest cars for the public to check out. Melicious will be onsite spinning tunes and keeping the zone pumped with an extended summer time jam set during the evening before her headlining bangers set later in the night.


BBQ
There is a free BBQ from 6pm onwards so if you skipped dinner grab a free sausie or two to keep you going though the night.

Free iced water is available from the bar so if you start feeling a bit wrecked have a sausie on us. Get pissed but be safe and don’t be a dickhead.

This is part of the responsible drinking attitude we take at every Rail Fest.
