We’re incredibly excited to be bringing New York-based collective, booking agency and platform Discwoman to our shores. Discwoman co-founder, producer and techno feminist UMFANG will be joined by multidisciplinary sonic disruptor SHYBOI for their mini North Island tour ?
Starting out as a two-day festival in 2014 to showcase underrepresented women and non-binary talent, Discwoman has since become one of the most important voices in electronic music today. Founders Frankie Decaiza Hutchinson, Christine McCharen-Tran and Emma Burgess-Olson (Umfang) have created the platform and booking agency designed to amplify the voices of women and non-binary people in music.
Discwoman have successfully promoted and curated events in 20+ cities and have worked with over 300 DJs and producers globally to date.
