Hoop and The Ministry of Folk are proud to present another magical bill of acoustic music.
The Ministry of Folk is cabaret-style seating, all ages, BYO drinks, in a lovely old Church Hall. All proceeds from the night go to the performing artists.
First off Hoop will play a set of their folky pop songs featuring Emily Allen on fiddle and Maxine Cunliffe on cello.
Then Bernie Griffen will bring his gritty tales of life and love to the Ministry. Bernie is a legend on the Auckland music scene. His songs are melodic and memorable, soulful tales of a life well and truly lived on the fringes – full of love, pathos and colourful stories. Bernie's first album was hailed as New Zealand's best ever folk album.
Last but certainly not least, will be Caitlin Smith who is simply one of New Zealand's best-known and loved singer songwriters. Expect to have plenty of goosebump moments.
