Melted Ice Cream, Christchurch’s notorious indie cassette label, is celebrating eight years of existence with a bash featuring the very best of its current roster.
Leading the charge is Wellington jangle-prog outfit Terror of the Deep, whose visit comes hot on the heels of their brand new fifth album, future classic: The A-Team.
Joining them are local heroes T54, part of the legendary Flying Nun roster, who are regrouping after a four-year hiatus to show-off new tunes from their upcoming LP.
Next up, having risen from the ashes of seminal Christchurch punk band Transistors, are Best Bets, who are currently working on their highly-anticipated debut album.
Rounding out the set is the Ben Woods Group, a new addition to the local indie scene, with two critically acclaimed singles, ‘Lozenge’ and ‘Romancy’ already to their name.
Surreal visuals from Christchurch's indie music stalwart Spencer Hall are just the cherry on the top!
