Jay Clarkson and band are looking forward to doing a 2-set gig at Dunedin's BARK venue (Dog With 2 Tails) Fri 15th Nov. Tenzin Mullin, ( Lars Von Trio, Heka, Suka ) has happily picked up the bass reigns following John White's departure to India. Mike Dooley (The Snares, Snapper, Toy Love) continues to roll and thwack the drums in his inimitable style, with Alan Haig (Heavy 8s, Snapper, Chills ) setting the atmosphere playing his beautiful red KORG keyboards. Singing with this band, says Jay, is a buzz. Jay's trademark finger-picking guitar is still hanging round moody minor chords but these days she is also inclined to venture into some lead - that almost soars!!
The band is currently working on an album. A 7 single of Wakey Wakey World will be released through IWRs Feb 2020.
