Five incredible musicians: Alex Richardson (vocals and guitar), Arahi Whaanga (vocals and percussion), Justin Lindsay (attitude and banjo), Amanda Cooper (killer fiddle), and Shelby Rowlett (vocals and sass) have all come together to form Folk Yeah!
Pulling together American folk songs with a kiwi twist, there's no one quite like them in the Bay. If you like songs about whiskey, lost love, longing for a home, getting into trouble, and stories about Louisiana, Mississippi, or Texas, this is the night for you.
Performing at your favourite local watering hole, The Urban Winery, they'll be sure to get you up and dancing. Come early for some tapas to share, platters, craft beer on tap, gin, and of course the best wine selection in Hawke's Bay.
March 7th, doors open at 6:30 and music starts at 7:30. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the UW or via bank deposit.
