My Noisy Valentine is a happening taking place from the night of 11 February to 14 February 2020 in Dunedin for the first part then simultaneously in Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland. My Noisy Valentine is a happening in the 1960s sense as in lots of stuff in going on at once.
On Friday night (February 14) there's a concert at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery ($5 waged/$10 unwaged). Simultaneously there's going to experimental music concerts at Audio Foundation (Auckland), Pyramid Club (Wellington) and Darkroom (Christchurch) . The events will have a video conference call aspect where the audience will be able to see live images of the other three centres projected behind the performer. For the first act, we'll also include the audio feed, for a nationwide improvisation. Then for the last three acts it'll be just the images.
