THE GIG HAS RETURNED!!! After a long lockdown, Valhalla is warmly reopening its doors to the lively, Wellington music scene. On Friday June 19th, log off your work laptop, finish your after-work pints, and join our gig bubble for an evening of wholesome, cheeky, musical mayhem.
At this stage, the show will be a standing gig and the current level 2 guidelines will apply: a 100 person limit and the usual contact tracing for venues will be in place.

Wellington-based, indie/post-alternative/post-post-punk, 4-piece, mildly pretentious rock 'n' roll band Oh Sweet Nothings write whimsical love songs for the depressed and self-obsessed; self-subverting shanties for the self-doubtfuls; fun, silly adventurous music for the lonely and desperate. Paper Plates Music is the emerging Wellington-based duo that will send you spiralling into mood spaces blended with synths, guitar swells and smoky vocals. Inspired by 'staring at the ceiling' kind of days, the alternative pop duo focuses their music on capturing emotions through explosive build ups and immersive soundscapes.
